Apply as a freshman if you are currently in high school, even if taking college courses. If you are enrolled in a dual-enrollment program and anticipate having enough college credits to earn an associate's degree, you are also required to apply as a freshman.
The transfer application is for students who have already earned their high school diploma. Transfer applicants do need to have taken all of the general education courses by the start of Fall of 2018.
The MFA Production program is a full-time (fall, spring, and summer), two-year course of study. Students complete ninety semester hours in a curriculum that focuses on the art, craft, and business of storytelling. The graduate program is designed and scheduled as a conservatory.
The MFA in Writing program is a full-time (fall, spring and summer), two year program. Eight writing students are admitted each Fall. The program is comprised of six consecutive semesters (61 hours of completed coursework) that lead to a Master of Fine Arts Degree.
